The members communicate with each other by attending up to two meetings a year organised by the IGMT, either online or in person (conditions permitting), or through national meetings to discuss specific subjects. The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust maintains a variety of social media and online communication platforms for the networks, including a facebook page (IHSO England), a twitter feed (@IHSOengland), and instagram (ihso_england), as well as issuing an e-newsletter.
