National Mills Weekend is an annual celebration of windmills and watermills, promoted by the Mills Section of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB). This year, hundreds of sites will be open across Britain and Ireland, with dozens of wind and water mills available to explore in England during the weekend of the 9th & 10th May, 2026.
The sites open include three owned by SPAB, who will be running tours at Fladbury Water Mill in Worcestershire, Cropthorne Mill also Worcestershire, and at Kibworth Harcourt Post Mill, Leicestershire.
